Vision/Mission Statement:

As head of the Church (Col.1:18) Jesus set the course and established the mission for His church. He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matt. 28:19). In Acts 1:8 Jesus said, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…”. These are foundations for our mission as Christians and as a church. We are to go and make followers of the Lord, and be witnesses for Him in everyday life. The following phrase describes our vision, mission and our priorities:

The West Valley and our church services are top priorities of everyone on our church leadership team. We live to connect to God and His promises.

We believe salvation through Christ is for everyone. The Rock’s desire is to equip those who attend The Rock to win their family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to Jesus Christ. Each church service The Rock organizes is finalized with the opportunity for anyone to give their life to Jesus Christ.

The world is inspired through television broadcasts, conferences, books and tapes that are sent out. We are committed to teaching principles set in motion through God’s Word by every means that is available to the world. Making disciples through the teaching of God’s Word, the Bible, is a vital part of The Rock’s mission.

The message of Jesus Christ is for everyone. No matter where you live, work or vacation, the world is your mission field. We are representatives of God’s Word at all times. The developing of disciples is purpose driven. To send you into your world prepared to connect, win, and teach others the life saving news of Jesus Christ.
