Kevin & M’Lisa Goff married in June of 1983. Shortly after, they founded Abundant Life Fellowship in Glendale, Arizona. During their 7 years in the pastorate, they suffered a painful divorce. After being estranged for an entire year, with all hope abating, God restored their marriage in 1995.

In March of 1997 Kevin & M’Lisa founded The Rock in Avondale, AZ. In July of that same year their family experienced a tragic automobile accident. M’Lisa received injuries that included fractures to her neck and back, as well as multiple fractures to her facial structure. This accident also claimed the life of one of their twin sons, Brandon Tyler Goff.

Despite the agony of this event, Kevin and M’Lisa have remained strong in their faith and joy. They are true testimonies of the grace and strength of God. They both teach the Word of Faith with passion because they believe we can do all things through Christ, as it says in Philippians 4:13.

The Rock now has two campuses.  The Rock in Goodyear, AZ a suburb of the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area and The Rock in Hendersonville, Tennessee a suburb of Nashville, TN.
